WakeStory: new KWWS product
We are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new KWWS product: automatic video recording system for wake park riding — WakeStory.
WakeStory is a smart IP camera system that saves a complete video of riding session to remember the best moments and for further analysis with a coach.
Up to 4 cameras are located in the territory adjacent to the cable line, fully covering the used part of the reservoir. Server and cloud storage of video files stay online.
All IP cameras record video in Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and are adapted for year-round outdoor use: the housing is protected from moisture and dust in accordance with IP67, and against mechanical influences - in IK10. The cameras are also equipped with built-in image enhancement and image processing software.
The camera control system is synchronized with the KWWS portable logistics controller (presented in the WakeBox product suite) and receives information about the location of the carriage on the line at any moment - the camera is recording that it’s rolling into its coverage area.
Built-in motion sensors recognize a moving object, so the wakeboarder always gets into the frame, and the control system automatically cuts the recordings from the desired cameras. As a result, we get a ready-made mounted video.
We are sure that WakeStory will become a convenient and favorite service for park visitors.
Imagine that you booked a riding session online through a mobile app by checking the box “Record WakeStory of my ride”. Having returned to the beach after the sesh, you found in the app a mounted 10-minute video in excellent quality, which you can watch with a coach, send to friends, save to a smartphone or publish on social networks!
In the 2020 season, Kingwinch’s wake parks visitors will be able to test the WakeStory system, and after a successful break-in, it will be available for purchase in the KWWS Catalog.
